Welcome to Lessons and Reflections !

Shadow and light

Light is the electromagnetic radiation of rays which are visible to human eyes and if some obstruction comes in its path then the light forms a shadow. When we are small we use our hands to interrupt the light and make different form of images and laugh on them with our friends those are gone days.

But with the development of technology we have learned and studied about different forms of shadow and lights correct. The light has four main properties they are intensity, wavelength, polarization and phase. The small packets of light are called photons and they have properties of waves and particles.

The speed of rotation is measured in m/sec or joule. There are many sources of light and the natural source is sun light that gives us heat. The plants and animals in the water emit some rays and this light energy which is known as bioluminescence. Many theories have been formed from the ancient times till now; the particle theory and the wave theory are some of the popular theories. There are two important equations in physics to know about light: E = mc2 where E is the energy, m is mass and c is the speed of light with which it travel, and E = hf.

Shadow varies in length in day it short while in night it is long. These reflections are the formed only when the object are in the path of the light and cannot reach to its destiny. The cross section of the shadow is the reverse projection of the object. In other words each and every organism has its own shadow which is visible to there own eyes or human beings.

The resolution of earth, moon, and sun causes solar and lunar eclipses. So at last would say light and shadow moves with each other as good friends.
